Fisherman's Wharf Cavelossim

Fisherman's Wharf- Its almost to the tip of South Goa near Holiday Inn, you will find yourself waiting for a table even on a weekday.

This seafood multi cuisine restaurant is popular amongst the locals and the tourists through the year. The live kitchen experience, the wooden seating deck at the riverside, the central bar provide the ultimate dining experience. This popular restaurant located at River Sal has an idyllic setting.

Fresh catch and local delicacies bring in people from far and wide so early bookings and reservations is highly recommended.

The Restaurant Manager really did try to attend to our booking swiftly keeping in mind we were a large group with young kids but tables were reserved and we had to wait for 'no show' to work in our favour. With New Years just behind us and the exposition of St Xaviers coming to an end, we were still experiencing the crowds. We were glad to celebrate Adens Birthday together and the Local band belting out some good ole western numbers kept him in high spirits through the evening.

We ordered the Pastas, Chinese and the Goan food with Chicken Xacuti, Goan fish curry and Squid Recheado a clear favourite. Lotus Prawn was simply delectable and the winner dish for all. Desserts are to die for. Chocolate mousse and the blueberry cheesecake was wiped clean.

I would really have liked to see the sun setting and the boats rocking on this gorgeous riverside so dining here at night left me absorbing only a part of this great ambience.
